The Lagos state Police Command recently rescued a 9 year old girl, Blessing (pictured above) from being sold by a three female child trafficking syndicate in Lagos.

Lagos state Police Commissioner Umaru Abubakar Manko while presenting the little girl to newsmen at the Ikeja Headquarters of the command said she was abducted from her parents about 3 years ago and has been sold to different people where she has served as a maid.

Little Iyabo Farouk (renamed Blessing) was abducted at the age of 6, and the last 3 years of her life have been traumatic. While granting an interview, she boldly confronted her abductors in ‘yoruba’ and dared them to say a word against her.

Such a brave girl for her age…..
