My Leg Injury Has Ruled Me Out Of 2021 Western & Southern Open – Serena Williams

Serena and Venus Williams have withdrawn from the 2021 Western & Southern Open.

The competition which is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, August 14, at Ohio’s Lindner Family Tennis Center will now take place without the sisters.

According to him, the leg injury she suffered last month at Wimbledon is still hindering her Tennis performance, so she needs to heal completely.

Serena added that she’ll definitely miss all of her fans in Cincinnati who looked forward to seeing her this summer.

Her words, “Unfortunately, I will not be playing in the Western & Southern Open next week as I am still in recovery from my leg injury at Wimbledon. I will miss all of my fans in Cincinnati whom I look forward to seeing every summer. I plan to be back on the court very soon.”
