Response To Terrorism Must Be Unified – Gov. Caleb Mutfwang

Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has called for stronger collaboration to tackle Nigeria’s increasingly complex security challenges. He recently had his say while declaring open the 2026 Federal and States Security Administrators Meeting (FSSAM) in Jos, and Nigerians have been reacting.

Stressing that enhanced intelligence sharing and coordinated responses among federal and state actors can fix insecurity, Gov. Caleb noted that no single institution can effectively address threats like terrorism, banditry, cybercrime and communal conflicts in isolation.

He added that Plateau State’s experiences with conflict have strengthened his government’s resolve to promote peace through purposeful leadership.

His words, “Security is a shared responsibility, and collaboration remains our greatest strength.”
