Use Salah Celebration To Pray For Sustenance Of Peace In Nigeria – Okezie Ikpeazu

Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has come out to urge Muslims in the state to use the opportunity of the 2022 Sallah to pray for the sustenance of peace and security in the state and the country.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, Ramadan is synonymous with the lessons of sacrifice, forbearance, tolerance, self-control, love for others, and peace, and these are critical elements needed for a united and peaceful life.

He added that his administration will continue to uphold the rights to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion of all citizens, provided that such rights would be exercised lawfully.
