
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has come out to say that anyone caught attacking the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority officers will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
He recently had his say via his Deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, at the second Lagos Traffic Conference in commemoration of LASTMA’s Silver Jubilee celebration on Tuesday.
According to him, their commitment, resilience, and professionalism have been instrumental in transforming the state’s traffic management, and their good work keeps guaranteeing the safety of millions of commuters every day.
Sanwo-Olu added that LASTMA officials are men and women who deserve praise for dedicating themselves to the vital task of keeping Lagos State moving.
His words, “I want to specially recognise the men and women of LASTMA who have dedicated themselves, often under challenging and sometimes perilous circumstances, to the critical task of keeping Lagos moving.
