Nollywood actor Mike Ezurounye has addressed his controversial video with colleague Toyin Abraham. Recall that the actor was recently seen tossing money around Abraham’s several times before handing it to her, while the actress threw the bundle of cash to singer Segun Johnson, who was performing.

Reacting to it, Ezurounye simply dismissed negative claims, saying he was simply celebrating a colleague and performing the popular “robo robi” dance.

Recreating the incident by flaunting a clip of Toyin tossing her hands around Mike several times before they finally embraced each other, Mike urged Nigerians to stop overanalysing harmless moments.

Film-making in Nigeria is divided largely along regional, and marginally ethnic and religious lines. Thus, there are distinct film industries – each seeking to portray the concern of the particular section and ethnicity it represents. However, there is the English-language film industry which is a melting pot for filmmaking and filmmakers from most of the regional industries.
