APC Sells Presidential Form At N100m, Announce May 15 Primary

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections. The ruling party recently set the total cost of obtaining its presidential nomination form at N100 million and the governorship form at N50 million.

In a press statement signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka revealed that the timetable was issued in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended, the Electoral Act 2026 and INEC’s Revised Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the 2027 General Elections.

While presidential aspirants are meant to pay N30 million as an expression of interest and N70 million as a nomination fee, Governorship aspirants face a combined bill of N50 million — N10 million for expression of interest and N40 million for nomination.
