Being A Taylor Swift Fan Is Slightly Racist – Melina Abdullah

The co-founder of a Black Lives Matter chapter, Melina Abdullah has come out to slam Taylor Swift fans as racists.

She recently referred to Kansas City’s Super Bowl victory as a right-wing, white-supremacist conspiracy, and fans have been reacting.

According to her, people might think they are attacking her when they ask why she feels everything is racist, but she is not even offended, because virtually everything is actually racist.

Melina added that this sad reality is the reason she decided to work in a community of committed people to upend racism and oppression.

Her words, “Why do I feel like it’s slightly racist to be a Taylor Swift fan?”

“I said FEEL, not think.”

“Why do I feel like this was some right-wing, white-supremacist conspiracy?!?! Booooooo!!!!”

“Folks think they’re attacking me by asking why I think everything is racist…I’m not offended. Virtually everything is racist.”

“And I’ve also decided to work with all my might and in a community of committed people to upend racism and oppression.”
