Eid-el-Fitr: CDS Urges Personnel To Uphold The Spiritual Values Of Ramadan

Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Olufemi Oluyede, has extended warm felicitations to Nigerians on the occasion of the 2026 Eid El-Fitr celebration. He recently had his say in a goodwill message marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, and Nigerians have been reacting.

Expressing gratitude to Almighty God for the successful completion of the fasting period, he urged personnel of the Armed Forces and Nigerians at large to uphold the spiritual values of Ramadan.

He added that imbibing the fear of God, honesty, tolerance, compassion and peace is the only way forward for Nigeria.
