The America’s Got Talent host was featured in the latest issue of American magazine DuJour, where he opened up about his divorce from Mariah Carey and plans to get married in the future.

According to him, not everyone is cut out for marriage. �I feel like marriage isn’t for everyone,” he stated. �A friend of mine put it the funniest way. He said, ‘If you heard that there was a 50/50 chance of living or dying when you jump out of a plane, you probably wouldn’t go skydiving.’ There’s like a 50/50 chance of a marriage working. If it didn’t work out for you the first time, and you still survived it, you probably shouldn’t do it again.

When asked by the magazine if he has plans to get married again, the 35-year old comedian replied: ”I highly doubt it.” He also talked about how he values his independence now that he is�single again.��How do I say this the right way … Not to say that I was bogged down [in my marriage], because I wasn’t by any means, but I like being able to make my own decisions and come and go as I please,” he said. He also added that he isn’t looking to be in a relationship at the moment.
Nick and music power house Mariah Carey split in August 2014 after six years of marriage and officially filed for a divorce in�December 2015. The�couple, who have remained amicable since the split, are parents to�4-year�twins named Moroccan and Monroe who they welcomed in April 2011.

On the subject of raising his kids in the spotlight, the Chi-raq star stated that he didn’t have an issue with that. ”I don’t see a problem with them being different and having an eccentric upbringing. It’s fascinating and fantastic. But it’s about [teaching them] humility more than anything. Teaching them to be respectful � to make eye contact and say ‘Yes, ma’am and ‘Yes, sir,’” he told the magazine. �You can still be a diva and be humble. Mariah is a perfect example of that.”
