Chairman, Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Kehinde Bamigbetan has been released by his captors.

P.m News gathered that he was released on Friday night by the kidnappers, who had earlier demanded for $1 million to be paid before his release. The Nation online reported that Head of the Council’s Information Unit, Rabiu Hassan confirmed the release.

While it was not certain how much was paid to the kidnappers, a twitter account, which is not confirmed, had it that N15 million was paid to the captors before releasing the council boss
