Michael Johnson Gave An Expected Reaction To Tobi Amusan’s Historic Win – Father

The father of world champion and record holder, Tobi Amusan has come out to beg Nigerians to ignore comments made by American track legend, Michael Johnson after his daughter’s heroics at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, the American’s comments should be ignored completely because it is the norm for the western world to behave that way when Africans beat them to anything.

Her dad added that he feels unconcerned about what he said after the race because God has already done what He needed to do.

His words, “You know the western world and how they behave, you should know what they are.”

“I feel unconcerned about what he said after the race because God has done what He needs to do. I don’t mind whatever anybody says about the timing, I feel that is how the western world is but they are not God.”

“So, he is entitled to his opinion. I won’t take it as an offence because I just believe that’s what these blacks do.”
