Oscar’s boss, Janet Yang has come out to say that the Academy should’ve responded differently to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars last year.

She recently had her say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to her, the reality is that the Academy would respond more swiftly in removing the person completely should a similar incident happen this year.

She then backed the decision to ban the Hollywood actor from the ceremony for the next ten years.
