He revealed this in a recent statement by Col. Sagir Musa, Acting Director, Army Public Relations, in Abuja today.
According to him, the resilient troops of Army Super Camp in Monguno should be praised for repelling an attack by the terrorists and wreaking serious havoc on the culprits.
He then urged the Commander, Operation Lafiya Dole to keep engaging in serious offensive patrols to all identified terrorists’ locations in the operational area.
His words, “Let me assure the troops and the people of the North-West region, especially Katsina, Sokoto and Zamfara that I am ready to visit the axis soon.
“We must work together to ensure that the madness of the bandits is properly checked.”

Tukur Yusuf Buratai is a Nigerian Army Lieutenant General and the current Chief of Army Staff of Nigeria, a position he was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari in July 2015. He was commissioned in 1983 and has had multiple command, administrative, and instructional appointments.
General Buratai is from Buratai town, Biu Local Government Area of Borno State. His father, Yusuf Buratai, was a non commissioned officer in the Royal West African Frontier Force and World War II veteran who fought in Burma. General Buratai had his primary education at Buratai town and thereafter gained admission to Government Teachers College Potiskum, Yobe State, where he graduated with distinction.
Buratai was rumoured to have been replaced by President Buhari following the promotion of Maj.-Gen. L.O Adeosun to Lieutenant General, making him of the same rank with Buratai. But the report was immediately debunked by the Army.
