Nollywood actress, Aniebiet Francis has come out to say that most of the restless and suspicious wives were once official side chicks in other people’s relationships.

She recently had her say via her social media page, and fans have been reacting.

According to her, any wife who finds it hard to trust her husband after marriage is only suspicious because of her own expertise in cheating tricks when she was still a side chick.

Francis added that living such a life of fear is not ideal, and it is sad when people become a victim of their own past atrocities.

Her words, “Some of the most restless wives are the ones that were once official side chicks in people’s relationships. Their expertise in cheating tricks makes every action and inaction of their husbands suspicious. They literally live a life of fear. Fear that someone is doing to them what they did to others. May we not become victims of our past atrocities.”

The term continues to be used in the media to refer to the Nigerian film industry, with its definition later assumed to be a portmanteau of the words “Nigeria” and “Hollywood”, the American major film hub.

Film-making in Nigeria is divided largely along regional, and marginally ethnic and religious lines. Thus, there are distinct film industries – each seeking to portray the concern of the particular section and ethnicity it represents. However, there is the English-language film industry which is a melting pot for filmmaking and filmmakers from most of the regional industries.
