Timi Frank Did Not Give Tonto Dikeh Any Wristwatch?

TontoTimiNigerian politician, Timi Frank has shared his reaction to reports that he gave Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh a wrist watch.

Days back, Tonto flaunted a photo on Instagram that showed her with Timi Frank. She reportedly claimed to have gotten a gift of a wristwatch from the politician.

However, according to a reliable source close to the politician, this is not true.

The source said, “Timi that has been laying low in Dubai has been pulled out by Tonto…He does not have any apartment to himself,talk less of gifting Tonto’s son one..it is not true and he is very upset about the publicity and attention the post brought him..His phone did not stop ringing.”

Tonto Charity Dikeh (born 9 June 1985) is a Nigerian actress, singer and humanitarian.

She was featured in a movie titled Dirty Secret, which generated controversy among Nigerians due to its inclusion of adult scenes. While some people criticised her role for being untraditional and un-African, others stated that Dikeh was merely being professional.

Following a successful acting career, Dikeh decided to pursue a music career. Prior to that, she was featured in a music video for Amaco Investments, alongside Patience Ozokwor. She made her music debut by releasing the singles “Hi” and “Itz Ova”, the latter of which features Snypa. On 13 June 2014, Nigerian singer D’banj signed her to his record label, DB Records. Dikeh announced her departure from DB records in March 2015.

Dikeh was born into a family of seven and is the third of five children. Her family is from the Rivers State, in the Obio akpor Local Government Area, and is of Ikwerre descent. At age 3, she lost her mother and was raised by her step-mother, who has two children. Dikeh studied petrochemical engineering at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology. Her traditional marriage to Oladunni Churchill was held in August 2015. In February 2016, Dikeh gave birth to her son Andre Omodayo Churchill, whom she nicknamed Baby X. However since then the couple has gone different ways.

On May 23, 2019, Tonto Dikeh signed a N100 million deal with Zikel Cosmetics setting on the map for being the first Nigerian celebrity to be paid such amount for being an ambassador of a makeup brand in Africa.
