Kinsmen of Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom have come out to urge Muhammadu Buhari to withdraw marauding Fulani militias from their ancestral home.

They recently revealed this via a statement on social media, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to a statement by the leader of the group, David Tsevende, Buhari would do well to proscribe Miyeiti Allah Kauta Hore and other Fulani socio-cultural groups as soon as possible.

He also urged APC leaders to use their political marriage with the Fulani oligarchy to as a matter of urgency ensure the creation of North Central Development Agency to carter for the wellbeing of our distressed people.

His words, “We also call on the APC leaders to use their political marriage with the Fulani oligarchy to as a matter of urgency ensure the creation of North Central Development Agency to carter for the wellbeing of our distressed people and rebuild communities destroyed by Fulani militia herdsmen in Benue.”

“We are calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to proscribe Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore and other violent Fulani socio-cultural groups and order the arrest of their leaders who have publicly accepted responsibility for the carnage in our land.”
