Gateman rapes man in Lagos

A man has dragged 38-year-old Sali Malu, a gatekeeper,to the Abule Egba Magistrates’ Court� for raping him.The complainant (names withheld), who is also a gatekeeper in �Peace Estate, Ipaja, Lagos estate, went to�the room�of�the accused�to charge his phone.

�The accused�gave him food to eat. The man did not know that the food had been laced with drug.
�After eating the food, he slept off only to wake up to the reality that he had been raped,’’ �When the complainant woke up, his anus was paining him and there was some left-over semen in it,

The prosecutor, Insp. Racheal Williams alleged that�the accused�had drugged his victim before raping him on March 23 in the house of�the accused.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that�the accused�is facing a two-count charge of sexual assault and causing a breach of peace.The accused�pleaded not guilty to the charge of raping a fellow gatekeeper (names withheld) and breach of peace.The accused�was granted bail of N500, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
