God Will Forgive Abba Kyari’s Shortcomings – Aisha Buhari

Nigeria’s First lady, Aisha Buhari has reacted to the death of former Chief of Staff to the president, Abba Kyari, who died recently after battling coronavirus.

In a recent post on Instagram, Aisha simply prayed for Allah to forgive Kyari’s shortcomings and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Her words, “From God Almighty we came and to him we shall return)

I condole with Mrs. Kulu Abba Kyari and the entire family of Late Malam Abba Kyari over the death of their husband and father.

I pray that Allah (SWT) will forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdausi and give the family the fortitude and patience to bear the loss, Ameen.

While wishing all those infected a speedy recovery and I pray for an end to Covid-19 Pandemic.”

Abba Kyari OON (17 November 1938 – 17 April 2020) was a Nigerian politician who served as Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.

A Kanuri from Borno, not much is known about his early life. In 1980, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Warwick, and also received a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Cambridge. In 1983, he was called to the Nigerian Bar after attending the Nigerian Law School.

Kyari was married to the sister-in-law of Ibrahim Tahir, and had four children.

On March 24, 2020, it was made public that Kyari tested positive for COVID-19 on March 23, following an official trip to Germany nine days before.
