Kiddwaya made the disclosure during an appearance on the Off The Record podcast.

While speaking with the host, he was asked directly about widespread claims tying his father to the origins of the high-end estate. The host queried, “I heard that your dad discovered Banana Island. Is that correct?”

In response, Kiddwaya confirmed the story, admitting he only found out recently. “Yeah, I didn’t even know until I heard it during one of my trips,” he said.

Terry Waya, who identifies as a billionaire businessman, has long been involved in sectors ranging from real estate to agriculture and hospitality.
