I Miss Working With Olu Jacobs – Yul Edochie

Yul Edochie - Noble Igwe and Chioma Otisi WeddingNollywood actor, Yul Edochie has jumped on social media to hail his senior colleague, Olu Jacobs.

Yul recently revealed that he decided to celebrate the actor because he has really impacted his career.

According to him, Olu Jacobs is undoubtedly one of the greatest actors to come out of Africa and he is indeed proud of him.

He added that it was always an honour to be with the legend on set and he misses working with him.

His words, “Just tell me I’ll be on set with him and I’ll be willing to do anything to make it happen, even if it means slashing my fee.

In the early days of my career I spent a lot of time studying his acting style.

It was always an honour to be on set with him. I played his son a couple of times and I learnt so much from him. So accommodating, so nice. He remains one of the greatest actors Africa has produced.”

Yul Edochie (born Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie 7 January 1982 is a Nigerian actor, named after popular Russian actor Yul Brynner.

He is from Anambra state Nigeria, the son of Nigerian actor Pete Edochie. He was raised both in Lagos and Enugu. He is the last of 6 children. He got married at the age of 22.

He attended the University of Port Harcourt, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts.

Yul attended Lillians’ Day Nursery School and Robinson Street Primary School, Enugu between 1984 and 1992. His secondary education started from 1992 to 1998. In those 6 years he went to Marist Brothers’ Juniorate, Uturu , University Secondary School Enugu, Ecumenical Community Secondary School Enugu and New Haven Boys Secondary School Enugu Respectively.
