The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has come out to say that he doesn’t want to be president because of power.

He recently revealed this during a meeting with the APC Senate caucus, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, he is only concerned about securing good government for the nation and he needs the partnership of senators to make it happen.

Tinubu added that the executive and legislative branches of this democratic tree must strive to cultivate and bring forth good fruit for the welfare of the people.

His words, “This (presidential ambition) is not about gaining power. It is about securing good government for the nation.”

“I seek your partnership in my quest to become the Presidential Candidate of our party and to win the general elections in February 2023 for all APC candidates.”
