The Governor of Benue State, Hyacinth Alia, has vowed to crush insecurity and restore lasting peace across communities in the state. He recently had his say while receiving a briefing on the deployment and reinforcement of security personnel to troubled areas in Kwande Local Government Area and other affected parts of the state.

Stressing that perpetrators of insecurity in the state must be brought to justice, the Governor noted that the latest deployment of security personnel marks the beginning of a decisive clampdown on criminal elements in Benue.

He concluded by commending security agencies for their efforts in restoring calm to the affected communities.

His words, “Let this be a warning to all perpetrators of insecurity: Governor Alia will not be intimidated. I will not be deterred. I will crush insecurity in Benue State.”
