If Jaywon Says My Music Isn’t All That, Then His Music Is Nothing – Odumodu Blvck

Popular rapper, Odumodu Blvck has come out to clap back at Jaywon who recently blasted Burna Boy and other colleagues for insisting no one in the music industry paved the way for them.

He recently had his say via his social media page, and fans have been reacting.

Jaywon had said, “Burna is talented, everything, but when it comes to that attitude, it’s like Burna saying ‘nobody paved the way for me’. How can you say that? It’s a very wrong thing to say. You don’t understand. It’s madness. Because that means you’re saying from when you were little till now, no one has inspired you.”

Reacting, Odumodu insisted that no one paved the way for him, especially when it is coming from Jaywon who once referred to his music sometime back as not all that.

Oluwajuwonlo Iledare (born 6 June 1986), professionally known as Jaywon, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, performer, producer and actor (army of the thieves). Following his departure from Kennis Music, he founded the Next World Music record label in 2013.

In 2009, the Nigerian Music Video Awards presented Jaywon with the Best New Artist award. He also won the award for Best Recording at The Headies 2013 and the Tush Awards for ‘This Year song.

Jaywon completed his primary education at ECWA Primary School, then moved on to Government Secondary School in Kogi State for his secondary schooling before graduating with an HND in Accounting from Federal Polytechnic, Bida.

On June 25, 2020 Jaywon drops his ten-track album titled Aje (The Mixtape), it features vocals from Next World Music’s new Signee, Save Fame, as well as Zlatan, Lyta, Barry Jhay, Phyno, Magnito, IDYL, Danny S, Qdot, Keke Ogungbe, DMC Ladida, Alijiita, and Umu Obiligbo, among others, with production credits from irockclassic, Blaq Jerzee, Soularge, Don Adah, Tefa, Phynest, and Xsmile.
