New BBNaija housemate, Angel has come out to confess that she lied to organizers about overcoming depression and self-harm.

She recently revealed this during a chat with her fellow housemates, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to her, during the process of getting on the show, she actually lied to the psychologist that she stopped self-harming while battling depression seven years ago, instead of last year.

Angel added that even if she is completely done with self-harming, if she didn’t lie, she wouldn’t have been picked for the show this year.

Her words, “I was dealing with depression and I did not really have anyone to talk to because of the kind of Family I am from. I started selfharming instead then I stopped last year.”

“I am Surprised that I am here because you know the whole process thing and we had to speak to a psychologist. Maybe because I lied when she asked when did I stop Self harming I passionately said 7 years ago and I have moved on mentally and I don’t see my self doing that again; this is true but I only stopped last year. I know if I didn’t lie I won’t be here.”
