Popular Hollywood actor, Will Smith has come out to say that he and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith have had sexual relationships with other people throughout their marriage.

He recently revealed this to the press, and the world has been reacting.

According to him, the fact is that their marriage was monogamous at first but they eventually opened after realising they were both miserable and clearly something had to change.

Will Smith added that he and Jada never believed in conventional marriage and they have given each other trust and freedom.

His words, “Jada never believed in conventional marriage. Jada had family members that had an unconventional relationship. So she grew up in a way that was very different than how I grew up.”

“There were significant endless discussions about, what is relational perfection? What is the perfect way to interact as a couple? And for the large part of our relationship, monogamy was what we chose, not thinking of monogamy as the only relational perfection.”

“We have given each other trust and freedom, with the belief that everybody has to find their own way. And marriage for us can’t be a prison.”

“And I don’t suggest our road for anybody. I don’t suggest this road for anybody. But the experiences that the freedoms that we’ve given one another and the unconditional support, to me, is the highest definition of love.”

Jada Koren Pinkett Smith is an American actress, singer-songwriter, screenwriter and businesswoman who began her acting career in 1990, with a guest appearance on the short-lived sitcom True Colors, and subsequently starred in the television series A Different World (1991–1993). She made her feature film debut in Menace II Society (1993).
