TMZ reported that Jay Z and Solange had been spotted jewelry shopping together at Mr. Flawless jewelry shop in New York after video leaked of Solange attacking Jay in an elevator following the Met Gala.

The jeweler himself spoke to talk show host Wendy Williams by phone and personally denied that the two had been at his store in the last few weeks.

I guess that news was just damage control
