Ex lead singer of the American vocal group “The Temptations”, Bruce Williamson, has died at the age of 50.

The singer died from the deadly virus on Sunday night at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Confirming the news was his son and he had this to say, “There’s no words in the world that can express how I feel right now I love you Daddy thank you for being awesome thank you for being loving thank you for being Who You Are I pray to God and we will meet again. I love you Daddy R.I.H KING WILLIAMSON.”

Bruce Williamson Jr. (September 28, 1970 – September 6, 2020) was an American R&B and soul singer and a onetime lead singer for The Temptations.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Bruce started singing in church at a young age. Williamson’s love for music began after experiencing jealousy over his cousin’s frequent choir leads. Having sung gospel music for most of his life, he also began singing R&B music in local clubs. Williamson later took his talent to the famous Las Vegas Strip, fronting the popular cover, funk band, BlackBerry Jam.

Williamson died on September 6, 2020, in Las Vegas after battling COVID-19. At the time of his death, Williamson was working on a gospel project with a reloaded BlackBerry Jam band entitled Send the Rain.
