Mohammed Aminu Was Promoted Because Despite Assault From Seun Kuti, He Stayed Professional – PSC

The Police Service Commission has promoted the police officer who was assaulted by Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti weeks ago, Mohammed Aminu.

Recall that he had a controversial encounter with the singer in May this year during a confrontation on third mainland bridge which led to Seuns arrest.

Recently reacting via a statement released on Thursday, July 20, the Police Service Commission (PSC) revealed that Mohammed has been promoted to ASP because despite the level of assault on him, he showed a high level of professionalism.

His words, “Inspector Mohammed Aminu, who trended on social media where he was seen being assaulted in uniform by one Seun Kuti, was also promoted to ASP I.”
