Naira Marley Made Late Mohbad His Slave – Mother

The bereaved mother of singer, Mohbad has come out to ask Nigerians to help her find Naira Marley.

She recently had her while actress Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo paid her a condolence visit, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to her, Mohbad always cried back home whenever he went for a show, because he kept getting beat up while performing to the crowd.

She added that Naira Marley clearly used her late son as a slave, and he needs to come out of his hiding.

His words, “My child will be crying all the time. They will be beating him whenever he goes for a show. A show he is supposed to go for he will not be able to attend the show, they will be beating him. Sam Larry, I don’t know who that is. I don’t know anybody. I don’t know any strong person. I have seen you people now, you have promised me. Help me find Naira out, he used my son as a slave. When my son was with Naira, he never gave me money. Please help me find him out.

My child will be telling me please do not let them kill me. I will also be telling him that I know people and that I will meet some people. He will tell me Please do not allow them to kill me.”

Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (8 June 1996 – 12 September 2023), known professionally as MohBad, was a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter from Lagos. He was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Records and left the label in 2022.

He was best known for his hit singles “Ponmo, Feel Good”, and “KPK (Ko Por Ke)” (You Will Always Be Remembered) with Rexxie which was nominated three times for The Headies awards 2022.

He released his debut album, Light, in the fourth quarter of 2020 as a follow-up to his viral song “Ponmo,” which featured Naira Marley and Lil Kesh. MohBad was nominated five times for The Beatz Awards 2021.

Naira Marley served as executive producer for the eight-track EP, which also bears the production stamps of SB, Rexxie, P.Beat, and Austin Sinister.
