Popular media personality, Bolanle Olukanni has come out to say that she will not join the “men are scum” trend.

Bolanle simply revealed that she took this decision because she recently made up her mind to stop hating men.

According to her, ladies who still detest the opposite gender should do as much as possible to not expect anything from them to avoid any kind of disappointment.

She added that she does not think all men cheat so she will not use her mouth to spoil her future.

Her words, “At some point you really have to choose to stop hating men. And if you are going to continue to hate them then free yourself from expecting anything from them so the disappointment is doesn’t sting as much.”

“I don’t use my mouth to spoil my future. I don’t think all men cheat. I don’t think men are scum. I don’t believe that I will prepare for a cheating partner. I do not say these things or entertain these thoughts . So that energy please pass me with it.”

Bolanle was raised in Nigeria, Israel, America and Kenya. Olukanni attended St. Saviour’s Primary School in Lagos and went on to Queens College for secondary school. Olukanni moved to Kenya where she attended Rosslyn Academy in Nairobi, Kenya for part of her high school. Before her final year of high school, she moved to America and for her senior year she attended Wichita Southeast High School in Wichita, Kansas, where she participated in the National Speech and Debate Tournament for Dramatic Interpretation.

Bolanle co-founded Sage & Walls , a multimedia production company in 2015; and began producing and hosting “On the Carpet with Bolinto” which covers celebrity African events.

In 2019 she wrote, directed and produced her first documentary titled “Gods Wives” and she became the host of “The Juice” on NdaniTV”.
