Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, who is better known by his stage name Rapper Vector has been out of the spotlight for a while. After releasing four albums between 2012 and 2019, he has been kind of quiet since 2020. He was last seen in a song called “OG”, where he collaborated with Bigtril, and featured Larry Gaaga and Raezy. He also signed a record deal with Def Jam Africa, and appeared in the last season of “The Conversation” with his ‘rival’ M.I, where both of them addressed their beef and tried to sort it out. But since 2020, Vector has been missing in action.

Well, that streak is broken, as Rapper Vector made the rounds on social media, owing to his marriage to Yinka Coke, his longtime girlfriend. She is a physiotherapist, and both of them tied the knot on 21st December, 2022, in a private ceremony.

Marriage might not seem like a newsworthy event to many, but they would be wrong to think that. The couple has a daughter, who was welcomed into the world in 2020. She was also in attendance, along with many other of their family members. Their daughter too, was clad in white, and was wearing matching headbands with her mother. The family looked the epitome of grace and simplicity.

The rapper has four albums, State of Surprise (2012), The Second Coming (2012), Lafiaji (2016) and Vibes Before Teslim (2019). He has also released a few mixtapes and diss tracks, apart from collaborating with numerous artists from time to time. He has won numerous Headies for his stellar singles. He was praised for his efforts to keep the Nigerian hip hop scene going.

It remains to be seen whether Vector breaks his silence and posts about his marriage on social media. Although if anyone takes a look at his past record, it seems unlikely. The rapper is not very active on social media, which is a far cry from most of the celebrities today, who are very active across all forms of social media.
