Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Brand Is Now Worth $1B

Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty Lingerie brand is now worth a whopping $1 Billion.

Recall that the singer launched the line in 2018, and it’s one of several businesses started by the singer, including her Fenty clothing line, makeup range Fenty Beauty, and skincare line Fenty Skin.

According to a recent report from Forbes, the lingerie company recently secured $115 million in Series B funding, which officially put it at a valuation of $1 billion. The funding was led by private equity firm L Catterton, in which LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has a stake.

Savage x Fenty saw revenue growth of more than 200% last year and “increased its active VIP member base by more than 150%,” according to a statement from the company.

Rihanna has ventured into other businesses and industries. In October 2005, Rihanna struck an endorsement deal with Secret Body Spray. In 2010, Rihanna featured in the Optus commercial, in conjunction with Optus supporting Rihanna’s Last Girl on Earth. The same year Rihanna also featured in the Kodak commercial along with rapper Pitbull. In October 2010, the singer released an eponymous book. The book, featured photos from Rihanna’s Last Girl on Earth and served as an accompaniment to her fourth studio album Rated R (2009). In 2011, Rihanna was the face of Nivea and Vita Coco.
