An old friend of legendary rapper The Notorious B.I.G, Damien ‘D-Roc’ Butler has come out to say that the rapper’s mother once threw out his crack stash after mistaking it for mashed potato.

He recently revealed this on social media, and fans of the deceased have been reacting.

According to him, BIG, who was yet to become a household name, had processed the drugs and left the Brooklyn apartment, only for Biggie’s mum to show up and tidy up.

Damien added that he and his late friend couldn’t do anything about her action because they didn’t want her to discover that they had anything to do with the substance.

His words, “Then we came back in [and] she’d cleaned the room.”

“She was like, “Yo, you can’t leave dirty dishes lying around, hard mashed potatoes on the plate.” ‘Me and him both looked at each other like, “Oh s**t, she just threw it away.”

LOL.

Christopher George Latore Wallace (May 21, 1972 – March 9, 1997), better known by his stage names the Notorious B.I.G., Biggie Smalls, or simply Biggie, was an American rapper and songwriter.

Rooted in the New York rap scene and gangsta rap traditions, he is considered one of the greatest rappers of all time. Wallace became known for his distinctive laidback lyrical delivery, offsetting the lyrics’ often grim content.

His music was often semi-autobiographical, telling of hardship and criminality, but also of debauchery and celebration.

Wallace was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in the Brooklyn borough of New York City on May 21, 1972, the only child of Jamaican immigrant parents. His mother, Voletta Wallace, was a preschool teacher, while his father, Selwyn George Latore, was a welder and politician.
