Total/NNPC Deserve To Be Praised For Building Oxygen Plant In Lagos – Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has come out to hail Total/NNPC and their partners, Sapetro, CNOOC, and Prime 130 for building a medical oxygen plant for the state.

He recently had his say while commissioning the facility at the Gbagada General Hospital, Gbagada, Lagos

According to him, the companies should be commended for building such a facility that has the capacity to produce hundred bottles of oxygen per day, and it is actually the biggest of such plant to be commissioned in Lagos.

He added that Total and its partners deserve a round of applause for their amazing display of social responsibility.

His words, β€œIt is much bigger than the one commissioned earlier on. Total and its partners deserve a round of applause. I want to put it on record that we will continue to acknowledge all the various support that we have received from Total. I am aware that at the height of the COVID-19, when we were high on the storm, a lot of resources were also supplied and donated by Total Nigeria; both PLC and Total Upstream. Thank you very much.”

Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu (born June 25, 1965) is a Nigerian Politician and the current Governor of Lagos State. He was announced the governor under the platform of the All Progressives Congress after contesting and unexpectedly winning the gubernatorial primaries under the All Progressives Congress against incumbent governor, Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State in October 2018.

He is a graduate of the University of Lagos, as well as the London Business School, Lagos Business School and the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Before his gubernatorial ambition, He was the Managing Director/CEO of Lagos State Property Development Corporation (LSPDC).

Sanwo-Olu has a B.Sc in Surveying and an MBA from the University of Lagos. He is an alumnus of the John F. Kennedy School of Government, the London Business School and the Lagos Business School.

He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (NITAD).
