Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal has come out to describe the election petition tribunal’s confirmation of his election victory.

He recently revealed that it is a clear expression of the will of the people, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, the tribunal’s verdict reflects the resounding choice made by the people, and it was not a surprising judgement in any way.

Lawal added that he is pleased to see that the collective decision made by the unwavering people of Zamfara will come to pass.

A statement read, “A while ago, Dauda Lawal was affirmed as the winner of the March 18, 2023, governorship election at the Zamfara Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Sokoto. The judgement was not surprising but rather an affirmation of the collective decision made by the unwavering people of Zamfara.”
