We Are Not Interested In Any Merger With PDP – Labour Party

The Labour Party has come out to say that it has no plan to merge with the Peoples Democratic Party to dislodge the ruling All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general elections.

LP spokesman, Obiora Ifoh recently revealed this while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, Atiku’s call is only a proposal and every Nigerian should be interested in making democracy work in the country because what we have presently is an autocracy.

He added that Labor Party has never given the impression that they are considering any form of merger with PDP.

His words, “There was nowhere in the response that the purported merger between LP and PDP was mentioned.”
