Yul Edochie Reported The Death Of His Son To Us, Investigation Has Started – Police

The Lagos State Police Command has come out to confirm the death of Kambilichukwu Edochie, the 16-year-old son of popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie.

Recall that Kambilichukwu died recently at the Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos where he was rushed to after developing a seizure, while playing football with his mates.

Speaking minutes ago, spokesperson for the police in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the development, adding that the actor reported the death of his son to the command.

Benjamin added that the matter will be forwarded to the State Criminal Investigation Department on Friday, March 31, for investigation.

The term continues to be used in the media to refer to the Nigerian film industry, with its definition later assumed to be a portmanteau of the words “Nigeria” and “Hollywood”, the American major film hub.

Film-making in Nigeria is divided largely along regional, and marginally ethnic and religious lines. Thus, there are distinct film industries – each seeking to portray the concern of the particular section and ethnicity it represents. However, there is the English-language film industry which is a melting pot for filmmaking and filmmakers from most of the regional industries.
