Cardi B must have seen this deal coming when she hinted about the thrilling news on her Instagram stories earlier this month.
She wrote as at that time that, “My biggest dream might come true this month or next month. Crossing fingers.. I talked about this a lot in interviews.”
Cardi B has inked her first movie deal and she’ll begin filming in March as reported by TMZ.
How much she’ll be getting for the yet-to-be-titled movie is unclear yet, but she reportedly turned down other gigs that would have made her between $100,000 to $200,000 for the movie.
The movie will definitely be worth more than the gigs she turned down. Cardi has previously starred on VH1’s reality series Love & Hip-Hop New York as well as BET’s TV drama Being Mary Jane.
