I Avoided The Press For 10 Years Because I Love Mystery – Frances McDormand

Popular Hollywood actress, Frances McDormand had come out to explain why she has avoided the press for a decade during her career.

She recently revealed this during an interview with New York Times, and her fans have been reacting.

According to her, she simply made a very conscious effort not to do press and publicity for 10 years, and it paid off for her against all odds.

Frances added that her decision gave her a mystery she wanted, and now she can still boast of more audience than those who were in the limelight.

Her words, “I made a very conscious effort not to do press and publicity for 10 years in what other people would think would be a very dangerous moment in a female actor’s career, but it paid off for exactly the reasons I wanted it to,”

“It gave me a mystery back to who I was, and then in the roles I performed, I could take an audience to a place where someone who sold watches or perfume and magazines couldn’t.”
