Stop Using Ivermectin To Cure Coronavirus – WHO

The World Health Organisation, WHO has come out to warn the world against the use of the generic anti-parasite drug, Ivermectin to treat coronavirus.

A top WHO official for clinical care response, Janet Diaz recently revealed this to the press, and the world has been reacting.

According to her, except it is for clinical trials, the drug should be completely avoided because of a lack of data demonstrating its benefits.

She added that WHO is fighting against the overuse of unproven therapies, especially some of these repurposed drugs, in various parts of the world without evidence of efficacy

Her words, “This applies to patients with COVID-19 of any disease severity.”

“We are fighting this overuse of unproven therapies – especially some of these repurposed drugs – in various parts of the world without evidence of efficacy.”

“There can be more harm than any good.”
