A Cure Is Needed For The Poverty Epidemic Ravaging Nigeria – Bishop Oluwaseun Aderogba

The Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Jebba, Oluwaseun Aderogba has come out to urge President Bola Tinubu to take urgent steps to deal with Nigeria’s economic challenges.

He recently had his say via a statement made available to journalists on Sunday, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, even if he is aware that Tinubu is making some efforts, the effort is clearly not good enough at this point, and the nation’s problem is now like an epidemic spreading from one region to another.

He added that a cure is needed for the poverty epidemic that is ravaging Nigeria as soon as possible.

His words, “We desire a cure. Nigeria’s problem is like an epidemic spreading from a particular region of the country to other parts of the nation.

The cassava sticks which used to be free are now being sold. Farmers don’t even want to plant any crops that will be eaten by cows that are invading farms.”
