Music executive Don Jazzy has addressed a resurfaced claim by industry veteran Bankulli about a decades-old car incident in London’s Blackwall Tunnel.

Bankulli had alleged that Don Jazzy was involved in an accident, removed his number plate, and abandoned the car to avoid costs.
“Just to survive, Don Jazzy had an accident back in London, he took out the plate number and ran away. Why? Because it will cost him more to tow the car out of there than to repair it,” Bankulli said.

The remarks sparked online speculation about whether the incident could lead to legal consequences in the UK if Don Jazzy were to visit. However, the Mavin Records founder dismissed any concerns, clarifying the true events and stressing that nothing illegal occurred.

“Lol no panic. It’s been so long so I don’t remember the story exactly. I actually waited for the police,” he explained.

He added that officers arrived, conducted a breathalyser test, and confirmed he was sober. “The car was impounded. The fine to collect the car back was more than the cheap car so I left it with them lol,” Don Jazzy stated, putting the matter to rest.
