Nkechi Blessing Arrest Woman After Secretly Taking Her Photographs at Gym

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has shared the emotional experience of being body-shamed after a photo of her taken without consent at a gym went viral.

On the Honest Bunch podcast, Nkechi explained that the image was secretly captured by another gym-goer, an act she described as deeply hurtful and humiliating.

The actress, who became visibly emotional during the interview, highlighted that she has always embraced her natural body and remains proud as a mother to her six-year-old son. She criticized those who undergo body enhancement procedures but mock women who choose to remain natural.

Nkechi recounted how she eventually identified the woman responsible and had her arrested, noting that the gym initially declined to share information that could have helped locate the culprit.

In her own words, she said: “This is my body, this is how I’ve always been. I have a 6 years old son. You get BBL, you dey snap me wey get natural body, are you stùp!d. I found her and got her arrested… na because I no come online?”

The actress described the ordeal as a serious violation of her privacy and called on the public to show greater respect for women’s bodies, whether natural or enhanced.
