I Thank God For Sparing Anthony Joshua’s Life – Amosun

Former Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, has sympathised with world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, following his involvement in a road accident along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State. He recently expressed his sympathy in a statement signed by his media aide, Lanre Akinwale, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, the incident is saddening plus painful, and it should serve as a reminder of the fragile nature of life.

Amosun then prayed for the speedy recovery of Anthony Joshua and the peaceful repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in the crash.

His words, “While we mourn this grievous loss, we give thanks to the Almighty God for sparing your life. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult moment.

I wish you a speedy and full recovery, and I pray for the peaceful repose of the departed souls. May the good Lord grant comfort to their families and loved ones, and give them the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
