Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa Calls For Unity As Ondo APC Holds Fresh Congress

The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has finally held its state congress. Aggrieved members of the party have agreed to work together, and Nigerians have been reacting.

Speaking at the swearing-in of the fresh executive members, the state governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, revealed that the congress was held after the rifts among members had been resolved.

Describing the congress as a significant moment for the party, he noted that the orderly proceedings showed the strength of the APC despite recent challenges.

His words, “The court order has been vacated, so we are free to hold the Congress. I want to thank everyone. There is no crisis in the party, we are one.

As we proceed, let us remember that the future of our party is bigger than any ambition. Let peace guide our actions, unity shape our decisions and progress remain our ultimate goal.

My duty is very simple. It is to ensure that we work for the party and give the necessary support in ensuring that our agenda is realisable.”
