Kaduna State Government has dismissed reports circulating on social media alleging that Governor Uba Sani has endorsed certain aspirants for the National Assembly ahead of future political contests. He recently had his say via a press statement issued in Kaduna by the Commissioner for Information, Ahmed Maiyaki, and Nigerians have been reacting.

Describing the claim as a fabrication by its authors, he urged members of the public to disregard the report in its entirety.

The Governor further clarified that he neither endorsed nor gave preferential support to any individual seeking elective office.

His words, “The attention of the Kaduna State Government has been drawn to a misleading message circulating on social media alleging that Governor Uba Sani has endorsed certain aspirants for elective positions.

This claim is entirely false and should be disregarded.”
