Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation and the All Progressives Congress’ consensus governorship candidate in Ogun State, Yayi, has pledged to sustain the tradition of peaceful and consensual transition of administrations in the state. He recently had his say while speaking at the APC Ogun Central Senatorial District Stakeholders and Strategic Meeting presided over by Governor Dapo Abiodun and the state party chairman, Yemi Sanusi.

Thanking Gov. Abiodun for his laudable contributions to the socio-economic and political development of the state, Yayi stated that he would build upon the achievements he leaves behind if elected.

Senator Solomon Adeola further pledged to embark on a thank-you tour of all 74 wards in Ogun Central after the party’s primary.

His words, “When elected by the grace of God as the governor of our dear state, I will not only sustain and build upon the achievements, but further ensure rancour-free political interaction in the state.

I am very conscious of the honour done to me with my historic emergence as the consensus candidate of the ruling party in our dear state. I will not take it for granted and will work assiduously to sustain it in the years ahead.”

WOW.
