I’ve Fulfilled 90% Of My Campaign Promises – Gov. Abba Yusuf

Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has said that his administration has fulfilled 90 per cent of the promises made to the people within three years in office. He recently had his say while receiving the Emir of Rano, Muhammad Umaru, who paid him a Sallah homage at the Government House, Kano.

According to him, his administration has remained committed to delivering democratic dividends through people-oriented policies and developmental projects across key sectors of the economy.

Gov. Abba added that his crucial economic interventions are aimed at improving the living standards of residents and repositioning Kano State for sustainable growth.

His words, “I am pleased to state that our administration has successfully fulfilled about 90 per cent of the promises we made to the people of Kano State within three years of assuming office.

Our government came with a clear vision to improve the lives of our people, and we have made remarkable progress in key sectors that directly affect the well-being of citizens.

We are determined to complete the remaining promises before the end of our tenure. We will continue to sustain the pace of development and ensure that every part of Kano State benefits from our programmes and projects.

I want to assure the people of Rano that the expansion and dualisation of the Karfi–Rano Road remains a priority. We are also committed to providing subsidised fertiliser to our farmers and renovating the Emir’s Palace, among other projects that will improve the lives of our people.

We appreciate the patience, support and trust the people of Rano Emirate have shown this administration. We will continue to work tirelessly to justify the confidence reposed in us.”
