Senate President Godswill Akpabio has called on Nigerians to support efforts to combat terrorism, kidnapping and other forms of violent crime. He recently had his say in Abuja during an inter-denominational church service held at the National Christian Centre as part of activities marking the 27th Democracy Day celebration.

Stressing that security requires the collective vigilance and cooperation of citizens, Akpabio stated that the abduction of innocent citizens, particularly children, remains a source of concern and requires sustained efforts by government, security agencies and communities.

He concluded by urging citizens to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies across Nigeria.
